Yesterday, hubby and I went for a drive. We went to the thumb area of Michigan and it was so cool out there. We start our trip from Port Huron then drove north of  M 25. So I see a lot of beaches and the best bluest lake water. The day start up to be cloudy I told my hubby if we just go back since it is kind of cold and cloudy. But lo and behold the sun came out and the temperature shoot up to 67F. So I wore boots and plain jeans and a leather jacket then we are set to go!

Wearing boots is not my forte but I find this very comfortable. But I am looking for a skinny calf though lol!

Blousy

I call this top blousy. It is very light and very comfy and a little bit big even if the size is already small. And because it feels airy it made me think of a mosquito net but it is not though the material is made of chiffon I think.

Warm Day

Wohooo here in Michigan when the temperature goes up to at least 80F that is summer. If it goes beyond 85F that is torture lol! But today we had a very warm day after few days of getting a temperature of below 70F!! My outfit for the day...

Casual Look

In summer it is about time when your weekend is full of parties. Like birthdays, wedding, anniversaries and open houses. Yup so many parties to attend that I told myself need to get a comfortable and casual look but kind of elegant hehe. So I come with this maxi skirt and pair it with stripes shirt and a belt very casual looking but comfy which I like since it is getting hot here in MI.

The Blues

I do not know about you but somehow I got the blog burnt out syndrome lately ^_^. When the weather started to get a bit warm I started to clean up the backyard and then started to purge my closet. I got 7 black bag full and yet there are too many to be donated still. Good thing I do not shop at high end store rather I go to thrift store so it is not hard for me to let go a large/medium size jacket or coat or tops or jeans that don't fit me anymore. The thing about losing weight I get excited to see so many extra small or small on clearance hehehe. But still I don't induge on purchasing high end clothing because someday I will just throw it away or donate it so why spend a lot when you  just part ways someday hehehe. Back to my dilemma yes I am feeling burn out in blogging since I am excited in putting up my flower garden and vegetable as well. But here is my phot taken last month.

My Spring/Birthday Dress

Well actually this is my birthday dress I turned 48 yrs old. Before my birthday hubby brought me to this fancy looking dress store my eyes immediately fixed on the one that cries to me take me home and I did and bought the other day with matching peachy shoes. ^_^ Today is my birthday and yesterday my friends and I went to Bar Louie to celebrate my birthday!

Blue in dots

So sorry I do not have a new photo at this time. I sprain my right foot and for three weeks now I still cannot wear shoes. I have a snow boots which I wore when I go outside even to go to church because my foot still hurts. So here is my old outfit from spring of last year.

Gray

     Here in Michigan the sky is gray all the time. Last week we had two sunny days and just watching from the inside it is so good to get out and be outside. But of course, I can only watch and wonder the snow that piled up so high outside and how cold it is. The day started gray but at this time seems like the sun is out. So I opted to wear this gray top that I bought on sale and black shiny pants with light blue shoes and gucci wristlet. If I go out I will change my shoes to boots and put on a jacket and scarf too.

Chic

I am not good in layering. I do not like layering. I am confuse of layering. LOL! So everytime I visit fashion bloggers blogs that talks about layering I do read it with so much understanding hehe because of the reason above. But the other day I bought this short nice color sweater and saw some of fashion blogers who layer this. So I did look for something to layer and found one and did it! How do I look?

What matters most in this look is that my pants and colorful shirt were just under $4.00 how is that for a thrifter diva?

Leopard Dress

When I found this dress I was very happy it was on sale and yes it is leopard print. So then I remember all the rules in wearing something leopard, I should not mixed it with other prints or anything busy. So I choose my shoes for a gold and biege/brown shoes and wore gold jewelries. Well I have not wear this yet because our snow is taller than me. Maybe by the end of winter when it gets to above the freezing point temperature I will wear this at church.

Do You Wear Your Dress Again?

Okay I am curious here. I was told by my hubby few months ago that I could buy a dress every month wohoooo! I do not know but I do feel like dress makes a woman in any size and form to be very beautiful! Do you all agree with me? In the church I look at the women who wear dress and compare it to women who wore slacks, jeans or pants it is way different. So my aim really is to wear dress at church, to some weekend parties but my question is do you wear your dress twice or thrice and what is your suggestion? Let me know....because I intend to wear this dresses again to maybe a wedding or other party. And to make it more worth the wear is because I did not spend a lot of $$ in these two dresses.

Dressy

This is another dress I purchased a month ago. I already worn this to a wedding and thought of sewing the hem to make it short. But I firgure it out it won't look great on me if it is cut in short like four inces above my knee. Now I am okay with the length of this dress.

Boots are in!

This is the season when I so love to wear boots. The thing with boots is that it is high for me. I am only 4'11 and finding a good boots for my height and the skinny calf I have is painstaking effort. It is very cold here in Michigan we have flurries of snow but not experiencing a knee high snow yet and hoping it won't!

Fall Outfit

Fall is the time that you can go sexy and stll not showing a lot of skin. You cannot bundle up because it is not that cold but you can put scarf or blazers as your accessories with your outfit. But frankly I do not like boots!! But have to shop one that I can dress up with a dress/skirt/jeans. My photo was taken a month ago and I lose pounds since then. So this white jeans is a bit lose but for now cannot shop clothes since I know I am losing more pounds hehe.

My Hair

This photo make me smile lol! My hair looks like I was hustled by ten pandas lol!! It was windy that day just got up put on these dress but did not do anything of the hair lol!! For now I like to say I lose a lot of pounds! Wohooo! I am aiming for a 110-115 lbs and I am not that far from this numbers ^_^

Weekend Getaway

         This weekend bunch of friends went to Marriott Hotel to celebrate with the birthday of one of my friend. After dinner we went to the hotel and had a good time there. The celebrant asked us to wear something black and white so we did.

Khaki

I was very happy when I found a khaki pants that fits me. Of course since I am only 4'11 in height I have to fix the hem which is not really hard at all. I find khaki pants just like blue and white pants they can be paired with anything do you agree?

 And I did not know until now that these two photos are almost the same except for the sunglass I wore on the first photo. Anyway, a very casual outfit for a very unpredictable weather here in Michigan. Wore blue denim jacket, a stripe shirt, guess shoes, purse coach, necklace from Charming Charlie and earrings gifted to me.
