Something Red

Have not wore too many reds before but I dare myself to wore it few days ago. With black jacket and printed blouse, red pants and a red shoes an outfit was born. ^_^ What I like in this pant it is very soft and comfortable.

White in Fall

I still wear my white pants it is very comfy. The other day we had a very mild temperature. So I opted to wear short sleeve jacket and a sleeveless colorful blouse. It looks like summer going to fall outfit.

We are starting to cool down our temperature today was hanging between 55-57F feels cold to me I was used to having 81F and above this summer. Over summer I had some photos that I took and outfit that I wore.

I bought this necklace in the Philippines it's all made of coconut shell.

Bleeding Heart

My Bleeding Heart is blossoming like crazy. I thought Bleeding Heart blooms only in spring. I think in every rule there is always an exception?

Can you imagine I found this blazer at SA for $4.99? I have been looking for this at store for weeks but because it is a bit pricey for me (to my standard,lol) I did not buy it.

Summer Maxi

I bought this summer maxi in the Philippines. It is colorful and light. It has no straps so I decided to wear it with denim jacket. My wedges was given to me by my SIL. It has a large pink flowers in front and the colors is almost as the same with the dress.

Do you wear white Jeans?

Before I had my one month long vacation in the Philippines I went shopping. In the fashion world it says that white is in for summer. I do not wear white pants. It connotes heavy look, easy to get dirty, and bulges is easy to see specially in the thigh area. But I thought of trying it. So off I go shopping and looking for white pants. I ended up buying one jeans in Papaya for $10.00 but my two white jeans is a good deal. I bought it at thrift store and I guess it is only $5.00 each. Mind you when I look at the brand they are expensive a great deal indeed!

 One is size 8 and the other one is 6 and since it is long I cut if off and sew it by myself! ^_^ Turns out really nice and the fitting is awesome. I think both has a very good fitting on my "tush" I do not need a push up lol it just shape naturally. Now I am an addict of white jeans and looking for bold blouses or tops to match my white jeans. Does anybody familiar with London Jean and Christopher Blue? It's a very good material and love it.

Printed Jacket

It is a very good feeling when you find a very good deal at thrift store. For just $5.00 it was a very good deal. I tried to mix and match this jacket with a white pants and the same yellow blouse. The later made me wash away or it could be the lighting that make the photo seems too bright. With this look the dark stretch jeans seems to contrast the yellow jacket and top. I like the black heel in this one but the necklace seems too big for this ensemble I would like to wear a different statement necklace with this one. What do you think? What changes you like in this ensemble for me?

Is It Right?

I had bought this plated skirt at Khols on sale. I so love this skirt it is light and flowy. The color is just right but I am always confuse what to blouse and color I should wear. I come up with this blouse and put a golden belt for embellisment a guess shoes and I think it turn out good for this outfit. What I like to know if what color is nice to  match with beige/tan skirt like what I have. Any suggestions?

Plated Skirt

Movie Get up

I never thought I could pull this short jacket pretty nicely, lol! I thought of this pink blouse right away when I got this jacket and since at this time I do not have a colored skinny jeans I wore my white/grayish skinny jeans instead. I wore this going to the movie with hubby and pretty much happy. The boots is black boots pretty much a high heel. ^_^

Gold Vintage Purse

Another leap of fashion from me a woman in the middle of her 40's ^_^. What am I talking about is  this long sweater, in my reading with Sylvia's 40 + Style blog when you are in your 40's you can wear "something" that younger women do BUT with a lot of twist for a woman like me who is petite, has a different body shape etc. This time my "another" leap of fashion is wearing this long sweater. It is my very first time to wear this and I thought it didn't work but I was wrong I like the look and it is comfortable. Added to the effect is this gold vintage purse that I found in GW for just $4.95. The top is BCBG $4.95,  sweater White Stag $4.95 found at GW, sweet!

What Have I Thrifted

                                        Who doesn't like to buy cheap on a good quality of things. Somehow here in the US we have many thrift stores, stores do give discounts and huge sales in special days and that makes me happy. And if I bought an expensive bags that I think I was in limbo what I am thinking? ^_^ Last week I was browsing around and found  three beautiful bags for less.

This one is really good for night out or a night party. It does look chic and I like the material. There is no zipper but how you open and close it you just have to push and pull the sides. This is from Target.

This one is a good talking piece. The shape is pretty unique and the color is girly.

This one looks vintage. I can see my mother had this one and this can also be turn to a clutch bag which that is what I am going to do if  I am going out for a party. The color is blue but in different hues.

It's fun to look for vintage and thrifted stuff. We do not know what we discover like what I have above. What about you do you have something that made you smile this week?

Yellow Silk Top

I am a thrift-er diva. I found out that I can find branded names in thrift stores. Am I lucky? I think so but I do know how to look. That is why I stay hours looking for something that is worth buying in a very low price. Then I just don't grab and go I have to fit it, to see if it does look good on me. Sometimes or most of the time it has a tag attached to the dress and voila it is mine then. Few weeks ago I visited GW and found this beautiful yellow blouse (Worthinton), together I found this Anne Klein blazer, swweetttt!! Tell me what you think!

It's another hump day.
