Sandhill Cranes!! That's what they are. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Interesting birds and great photos.
Kim, the Sandhill Cranes are great birds. Wonderful sighting and photos.
Guys thank you very much for identifying these birds. Nobody around us here guess it, some says blue heron, but couldn't find any blue, some say geese I am not that sure also, now I have a name and I will tell them, ^)^!
Lovely birds Kim! Look like Cranes, but I'm not sure:)
Nice visitors, Kim. You are lucky to have these sandhill cranes. The would cheer me up for the day
Kim, thanks for your visit to my blog. About birding, I prefer to go alone - no talking, no distractions, just close observation of the environment. You don't need a big zoom lens either. I did very well for a while with a Panasonic Lumix FZ28. Look at this post: http://tinyurl.com/32c3f6f
Wonderful visitation! I'll bet the Sandhill crane has suddenly become your favorite bird! Nice captures Kim!
Kim, You are so lucky to have Sandhill Cranes visit not once but twice a day! They are a major "want-to-see" bird. You should sell tickets.:)Thanks for sharing them on WBW!
