Yesterday, hubby and I after attending mass at 8:30 am we went home took our breakfast and around 12noon we are off for a road trip. We went to the thumb area of Michigan. We saw corn, soy beans, sugar beets in the field almost ready to harvest. We saw the wheat just harvested and the brown ground it brings. Then we stopped at Marlette and hubby told me they had ice cream store and it's right we found the ice cream store and boy the ice cream is good! After we ate our ice cream I asked hubby if there is an Amish place close to the area and he remember there is and he drove to the East. While driving we passed this store and we stopped again I checked what they had and they had blueberries and cherries and other vegetables. I also bought ground beef for $2.50/lb, tomatoes then while driving we ate the blueberries. I haven't seen Amish people or carriage but we follow the Amish carriage tracks but didn't see one. Until I told hubby we gonna go home and so we did. It was good Sunday joy ride trip I like to do it every Sunday and I called it a couples retreat ^_^
