Four Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors in Order To Live Longer

We all want to live longer right? Somehow many of us don't live too long some even are too short that many of us couldn't believe. Here is what I read today that I like to share here.

Want to live longer? A study conducted by researchers at the University of Cambridge and the Medical Research Council found that  four healthy lifestyle behaviors made people live an average of 14 years longer than people without those behaviors. These include: not smoking, physical activity, moderate alcohol consumption, and eating fiver servings of fruit or vegetables a day.
The researchers interviewed 20,000 men and women, aged 45-79, who filled out a questionnaire about the four health behaviors. The participants, who had no known cancer or heart or circulatory diseases, filled out the questionnaire between 1993-1997 and were followed until 2006. A participant received one point for each healthy lifestyle behavior.
After they factored in aged, the researchers found that participants with zero points were four times more likely to have died over an average period of 11 years than those with four points. The researchers said that the results suggest that these four healthy people lifestyle behaviors could markedly improve the health of middle aged and older people.

Better live a healthy life!
