Watery Reflection

Imagine a life without water can we survive? I'd better not have an electricity than having no water, right? I remember when I was a child our city doesn't have enough electric supply so what the electrical company did is to supply half of the city in one week then the other half the next week. So at night you could see half of the city is black pitch while the other half is lighted.
But we/I survived and I think it was the best time. Because we had so much time playing around specially if the moon is full. The kids in the neighborhood will come out and we played in the middle of the road!!! While the grown ups talked to each other.
While at Holland,Michigan the other week. I noticed that in the middle of the Tulip farm is a waterway. I knew for sure that these waterway is the source to water their tulips. I can't tell if it is man made or not but it is pretty big and with these size of water source no wonder the tulips grew so beautifully. Here are the photos.

Yes, I more than agree with you, water is very essential!

Did you still see some tulips?

I would guess the waterway is man-made, because it is so straight, but it is lovely anyway.
You're right, we can get by without electricity, but we won't live long without water.

this has to be manmade. But probably there was a stream from the start. :) Looks great.

Having spent most of my life on a coast, I love the water and living around a stream, a lake, a river, etc. Love your photos and particularly the one with a bridge.
