I think it's been a year or more that I've watched Real Housewives of Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York, New Jersey and now Miami. And as far as I could remember it was the Real Housewife of Atlanta that I first watched and the rest is history. Watching this women parade their mansion houses, branded bags and shoes, splurging in their shopping I only wonder if it is for real? I was following Housewife of Atlanta, New Jersey that I heard a lot of controversies like bankruptcy, divorce, surgery, and all.
I thought to myself in the end we are all the same. You may have money or none but we have the same problem. And it's not how much you have in your bank that you are called a survivor but it's how you make it through the hardships and trials that you can be called a survivor and a success. I remember this celebrity, she is very pretty and she sings well. Then all of a sudden she was out of the limelight and none was being written about her. Well after 11 years of being one of the wife of a prince in one of the country in Middle East, she said this is it I am out in here. For a person looking at her, and judging by how much material things she got, you wonder why in the worlds she is going to get out from the security. But oh well, as what we can read in the bible, YOU CAN'T BUY LOVE!! And it is really written in the bible! It's not just a song by the Beatles but it's there. So that is what happened, after many years of being married to a prince and as the 9 or 11th wife she ask for a divorce. As she narrated her story she said that who could be happy when you can only see your "husband" once a year? Yes, she said I have lots and lots of money, I lived in one of the plush apartment in New York but I need more than that.
We human being are not created by God to have satisfaction and fulfillment with money. Money is a help but there is more than that. And "that" is the most essential part of our life. Can you figure it out?
