Tips For A Good Night's Sleep

I used to sleep early but when I get here in the US my sleeping habit change dramatically. I sleep late and wake up a little bit late and at time I find it not really good because I feel tired. I tried to change this habit and last night after I prayed my night prayer I read a spiritual book. The book is really good but I tried not to finish it in one night and I tried to read two or three chapters then I was sleepy I went to sleep. I woke up today a bit late but I feel relaxed. I think I am going back to reading a book than watching tv at night. Here are some tips to a good night's sleep.

1. Leisurely take a medium hot bath. Mix a few drops of lavender oil and inhale its soothing fragrance, the aromatherapy way.

2. Drink a glass of warm non-fat milk. Or eat a banana.

3. Read a good book in bed.

4. Once sleepy, sleep on your side, not on your back or on your tummy.

5. Tell yourself that you will sleep well and have  a sweet dreams.

Hei Kim, noticed you commenting on Sanna's pictures. Your tips for sleep are good, but I would suggest some slightly more different:

1. Ensure that you move your body in work or excercise at least 4 hours a day.
2. Take the evening easy, eat moderately, and read a book an hour or two before you go to sleep.
3. Lay on your side and think pleasant thoughts. Daydream; it will lead you to nice night dreams.
